Transliteration

Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |

Gārhasthyaṁ dharmam akhilaṁ prabrūhi bharatarṣabha |

Ṛddhim āpnoti kiṁ kṛtvā manuṣya iha pārthiva ||

Translation

Wika ni Yudhiṣṭhira: “O toro sa mga Bharata, ituro mo sa akin nang ganap ang dharma ng buhay-maybahay (gārhasthya). Sa paggawa ng anong mga gawain nakakamit ng tao, dito sa daigdig na ito, ang kasaganaan, O hari?”
