ययाति–देवयानी संवादः
Yayāti–Devayānī Dialogue and Śukra’s Consent
तथेत्युक्त्वा तत: प्रायाद् बृहस्पतिसुत: कच: । तदाभिपूजितो देवै: समीपे वृषपर्वण:,तब “बहुत अच्छा” कहकर बृहस्पतिपुत्र कच देवताओंसे सम्मानित हो वहाँसे वृषपर्वाके समीप गये
tathety uktvā tataḥ prāyād bṛhaspati-sutaḥ kacaḥ | tadābhipūjito devaiḥ samīpe vṛṣaparvaṇaḥ ||
Pagkasabi ng “Gayon nga,” umalis si Kaca, anak ni Bṛhaspati. Pinarangalan at iginalang ng mga diyos, mula roon ay nagtungo siya sa kinaroroonan ni Vṛṣaparvan.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness after assent: once one accepts a course of action (“tathā iti”), one should proceed with clarity and discipline, supported by rightful honour and blessings, rather than hesitation or inconsistency.
Kaca, after agreeing, departs and—having been honoured by the gods—goes to Vṛṣaparvan’s vicinity/presence, marking his transition into the next phase of the episode involving the Asuras’ court.
