Kaca–Devayānī Dialogue and the Curse on Vidyā
न्यमन्त्रयत चाप्येनां सा चाप्यैच्छदनिन्दिता । तौ तत्र सुचिरं कालमुभौ व्यहरतां तदा
nyamantrayac cāpy enāṃ sā cāpy aicchad aninditā | tau tatra suciraṃ kālam ubhau vyaharatāṃ tadā ||
Wika ni Kaṇva: Inanyayahan niya siya na tanggapin siya, at siya man—walang kapintasan sa asal—ay pumayag. Doon, silang dalawa ay namuhay nang magkasama sa mahabang panahon, ginugol ang mga araw sa pagsasama.
