Jaratkāru’s Conditional Marriage Vow and Vāsuki’s Offer (जरत्कारु-विवाह-नियमः)
न चैनं कश्चिदारूढं लभते राजसत्तमम् | वातो5पि निन्षरंस्तत्र प्रवेशे विनिवार्यते,उस समय महलनमें बैठे हुए महाराजसे कोई भी मिलने नहीं पाता था। वायुको भी वहाँसे निकल जानेपर पुनः प्रवेशके समय रोका जाता था
na cainaṁ kaścid ārūḍhaṁ labhate rājasattamam | vāto 'pi niḥsaraṁs tatra praveśe vinivāryate ||
At walang sinuman ang makalalapit sa pinakadakilang hari kapag siya’y umurong na sa mga silid na panloob. Maging ang hangin, kapag nakalabas na roon, ay pinipigilang makapasok muli—gayon kahigpit ang pag-iisa at pagbabantay sa palasyo.
