सर्वे च ते वेदा: प्रतिभास्यन्ति सर्वाणि च धर्मशास्त्राणीति । एषा तस्यापि परीक्षोपमन्यो:,“तुम्हारी बुद्धिमें सम्पूर्ण वेद और सभी धर्मशास्त्र स्वतः स्फुरित हो जायँगे।” इस प्रकार यह उपमन्युकी परीक्षा बतायी गयी
sarve ca te vedāḥ pratibhāsyanti sarvāṇi ca dharmaśāstrāṇīti | eṣā tasyāpi parīkṣopamanyoḥ |
Sinabi ni Rāma: “Sa iyong pag-unawa, magliliwanag ang lahat ng Veda, at gayundin ang lahat ng mga kasulatan tungkol sa dharma (dharmaśāstra).” Sa ganitong paraan inilahad ang pagsubok (parīkṣā) kay Upamanyu.
