A righteous endeavor should begin with blessings and a sense of protection rooted in cosmic order; strength (wings) and direction (front/back guarding) are ideally supported by divine forces, reflecting humility and dharmic intent rather than mere self-reliance.
Vinata offers a protective benediction—invoking Vayu to guard the wings and the Moon and Sun to protect from behind—before her son proceeds on his perilous mission, emphasizing both the danger of the undertaking and the need for auspicious safeguarding.
