Gajakacchapa-ākhyāna Prelude
इस प्रकार श्रीमयह़्ा भातत आदिपव॑के अन्तर्गत आस्तीकपव॑र्में गरुडचरित्रविषयक चौबीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārata Ādiparva-ke antargata Āstīkaparva-meṃ Garuḍa-caritra-viṣayaka caturviṃśatitam adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ abhavat.
Sa ganitong paraan nagwakas ang ika-dalawampu’t apat na kabanata tungkol sa salaysay ni Garuḍa, sa loob ng bahaging Āstīka ng Ādi Parva ng kagalang-galang na Mahābhārata. Ang kolofon na ito’y hudyat ng pagtatapos ng isang yunit ng salaysay, at inaanyayahan ang nakikinig na magnilay kung paanong ang mga huwarang gawa at ang mga bunga nito ay inilalahad bilang aral sa loob ng mas malawak na balangkas ng epiko na nakasentro sa dharma.
