ततो5शनिमुचो घोरांस्तडित्स्तनितनि:स्वनान् | तद्विघातार्थमसृजदर्जुनो 5प्यस्त्रमुत्तमम्
tato ’śanimuco ghorāṁs taḍit-stanita-niḥsvanān | tad-vighātārtham asṛjad arjuno ’py astram uttamam vāyavyam ||
Pagkaraan, ang mga ulap ng kulog na kakila-kilabot, hitik sa kidlat at dagundong, ay nagsimulang magbagsak ng mga punglo ng kidlat sa lupa. Upang salagin ang paglusob na iyon, si Arjuna—dalubhasa sa agham ng pag-neutralisa ng mga sandata—ay nagbigkas ng mga mantra at pinakawalan ang dakilang sandatang Vāyavya; sa pamamagitan nito, winasak ang lakas at bisa ng vajra ni Indra at ng mga ulap ng unos.
