Śārṅgakānāṃ Avināśaḥ (Why the Śārṅga Birds Were Spared) | शार्ङ्गकानामविनाशः

ते समेता महात्मान: कुरुवृष्ण्यन्धकोत्तमा: । विजहुरमरावासे नरा: सुकृतिनो यथा,जैसे पुण्यात्मा मनुष्य देवलोकमें सुख भोगते हैं, उसी प्रकार कुरु, वृष्णि और अन्धकवंशके वे श्रेष्ठ महात्मा पुरुष एकत्र होकर इच्छानुसार विहार करने लगे

te sametā mahātmānaḥ kuruvṛṣṇyandhakottamāḥ | vijahur amarāvāse narāḥ sukṛtino yathā ||

Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Ang mga dakilang pinunong yaon—pinakamahuhusay sa mga Kuru, Vṛṣṇi, at Andhaka—ay nagtipon at nagsimulang maglibang at lumibot ayon sa nais sa tahanang makalangit na iyon, gaya ng mga taong may kabutihang-loob na nagtatamasa ng ligaya sa daigdig ng mga diyos.
