Adhyāya 203 — Tilottamā-sṛṣṭiḥ
Creation and Commissioning of Tilottamā
The line functions as a colophon, but it highlights an ethical frame: the restoration or attainment of kingship is tied to proper counsel and dharma, signaled by the section title referencing Vidura—traditionally the voice of righteous statecraft.
This is not a narrative verse but an editorial/colophon closure: it marks the end of the 203rd chapter of the Ādi Parva, within the subsection titled ‘Vidura’s arrival and attainment of the kingdom,’ and notes that the chapter is associated with Droṇa’s speech.
