समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
ततः पर्व परिज्ञेयमानुशासनिकं परम् | स्वर्गारोहणिकं चैव ततो भीष्मस्य धीमत:,इसके बाद धर्माधर्मका अनुशासन करनेवाला आनुशासनिकपर्व है, तदनन्तर बुद्धिमान् भीष्मजीका स्वर्गारोहणपर्व है
tataḥ parva parijñeyam ānuśāsanikaṁ param | svargārohaṇikaṁ caiva tato bhīṣmasya dhīmataḥ ||
Pagkaraan nito ay dapat maunawaan ang «Ānuśāsanika Parva», ang dakilang bahagi na nagtatakda ng mga aral hinggil sa dharma at adharma. Kasunod niyon ay ang «Svargārohaṇika Parva», na nagsasalaysay ng pag-akyat sa langit ng marunong na si Bhīṣma.
