समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः

ततो द्रोणवध: पर्व विज्ञेयं लोमहर्षणम्‌ । मोक्षो नारायणास्त्रस्य पर्वानन्तरमुच्यते,फिर रोंगटे खड़े कर देनेवाला द्रोणवधपर्व जानना चाहिये। तदनन्तर नारायणास्त्रमोक्षपर्व कहा गया है

tato droṇavadhaḥ parva vijñeyaṁ lomaharṣaṇam | mokṣo nārāyaṇāstrasya parvānantaram ucyate ||

Pagkaraan nito, dapat maunawaan ang Parva na tinatawag na “Pagpaslang kay Droṇa,” isang bahaging nakapangingilabot. Pagkatapos niyon, sinasabi ang kasunod na Parva na “Pagpapakawala ng Sandatang Nārāyaṇa.”
