समन्तपञ्चक-आख्यानम् तथा अक्षौहिणी-प्रमाणनिर्णयः
Samantapañcaka Narrative and the Measure of an Akṣauhiṇī
तत्रस्थांश्व पुनर्द्रष्ट पाण्डवान् पुरुषर्षभान् । वासुदेवस्यागमनमत्रैव परिकीर्तितम्,जब नरपुंगव पाण्डव काम्यकवनमें निवास करने लगे, तब उनसे मिलनेके लिये वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण उनके पास आये--यह कथा इसी प्रसंगमें कही गयी है
tatra-sthānś ca punar draṣṭuṃ pāṇḍavān puruṣarṣabhān | vāsudevasyāgamanam atraiva parikīrtitam ||
Dito muling isinasalaysay na habang naninirahan doon ang mga Pāṇḍava—ang pinakadakila sa mga lalaki—dumating si Vāsudeva (Śrī Kṛṣṇa) upang dalawin sila. Itinatampok ng salaysay ang lakas na naibibigay ng matuwid na pakikipagkaibigan: sa panahon ng pagkatapon at pagsubok, tumitibay ang mabubuti sa pamamagitan ng napapanahong payo at ng presensya ng marunong at tapat.
