खाण्डवप्रस्थप्रवेशः तथा इन्द्रप्रस्थनिर्माणवर्णनम् | Entry into Khāṇḍavaprastha and Description of Indraprastha’s Founding
ततः प्रीतमना: क्षत्ता धृतराष्ट्र विशाम्पते । उवाच दिष्टया कुरवो वर्धन्त इति विस्मित:,विदुरजीने जब यह सुना कि पाण्डवोंने द्रौपदीको प्राप्त किया है और धृतराष्ट्रके पुत्र अपना अभिमान चूर्ण हो जानेसे लज्जित होकर लौट आये हैं, तब वे मन-ही-मन बड़े प्रसन्न हुए। राजन! तब वे धृतराष्ट्रके पास जाकर विस्मयसूचक वाणीमें बोले--“महाराज! हमारा अहोभाग्य है, जो कौरववंशकी वृद्धि हो रही है
tataḥ prītamanāḥ kṣattā dhṛtarāṣṭra viśāmpate | uvāca diṣṭyā kuravo vardhanta iti vismitaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Pagkaraan, si Vidura na katiwala ng palasyo, na may pusong nagagalak, ay lumapit kay Dhṛtarāṣṭra, O panginoon ng bayan. Sa tinig na puno ng pagkamangha, sinabi niya: “Sa mabuting kapalaran, O Hari, ang mga Kuru ay umuunlad at dumarami.”
