गूढपाण्डवदर्शनम् — The Hidden Pāṇḍavas and Kṛṣṇa’s Visit
यो जात: कवची खड्गी सशर: सशरासन: । सुसमिद्धे महाबाहु: पावके पावकोपम:,धृष्टद्युम्न वे ही हैं, जो कवच, खड्ग, धनुष और बाणके साथ उत्पन्न हुए हैं। महाबाहु धष्टद्युम्न प्रजजलित अग्निसे प्रकट होनेके कारण अग्निके समान ही तेजस्वी हैं
yo jātaḥ kavacī khaḍgī saśaraḥ saśarāsanaḥ | susamiddhe mahābāhuḥ pāvake pāvakopamaḥ ||
Sabi ni Yudhiṣṭhira: “Ipinanganak siyang may sandata na—nakasuot ng baluti, may tabak, taglay ang mga palaso at pana. Ang makapangyarihang bisig na iyon ay lumitaw mula sa naglalagablab na apoy ng paghahandog; kaya si Dhṛṣṭadyumna’y nagniningning na tila apoy mismo.”
युधिछिर उवाच
The verse highlights the idea of divinely sanctioned purpose expressed through birth and preparedness: a warrior born fully armed from the sacrificial fire symbolizes destiny and the kṣatriya ideal of readiness to uphold duty in conflict.
Yudhiṣṭhira describes Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s extraordinary origin and martial readiness—born from a blazing fire already equipped with armor, sword, bow, and arrows—emphasizing his fiery splendor and formidable role as a warrior.
