इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत आदिपरवव॑के अन्तर्गत चैत्ररथपर्वमें वसिष्ठचरित्रके प्रसंगमें वसिष्ठशोकविषयक एक सौ पचह्तत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārata Ādiparvavake antargata Caitrarathaparvameṃ Vasiṣṭhacaritrasya prasaṅge Vasiṣṭhaśokaviṣayaka ekaśata-pañcasaptatitaraḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
