त॑ समुत्थापयामास नृपतिं काममोहितम् | भूतलाद भूमिपालेशं पितेव पतितं सुतम्,राजमन्त्री अवस्थामें तो बड़े-बूढ़े थे ही, बुद्धि, कीर्ति और नीतिमें भी बढ़े-चढ़े थे। उन्होंने जैसे पिता अपने गिरे हुए पुत्रको धरतीसे उठा ले, उसी प्रकार कामवेदनासे मूर्च्छित हुए भूमिपालोंके भी स्वामी महाराज संवरणको शीतघ्रतापूर्वक पृथ्वीपरसे उठा लिया। राजाको उठाकर और उन्हें जीवित पाकर उनकी चिन्ता दूर हो गयी
taṁ samutthāpayāmāsa nṛpatiṁ kāmamohitam | bhūtalād bhūmipāleśaṁ pitevā patitaṁ sutam ||
Itinindig ng Gandharva ang hari na nalinlang ng pagnanasa. Iniahon niya ang panginoon ng lupa mula sa pagkakahandusay, gaya ng pag-ahon ng isang ama sa sariling anak na nabuwal—ibinabalik siya mula sa pagkahimatay ng pagnanasa at pinapawi ang pangamba ng mga nasa paligid.
