तस्मात्‌ तापत्य यक्किंचिन्नृणां श्रेय इहेप्सितम्‌ | तस्मिन्‌ कर्मणि योक्तव्या दान्तात्मान: पुरोहिता:,अतः तपतीनन्दन! मनुष्योंको इस लोकमें जो भी कल्याणकारी कार्य करना अभीष्ट हो, उसमें वह मन और इन्द्रियोंको वशमें रखनेवाले पुरोहितोंको नियुक्त करे

Transliteration

tasmāt tāpatya yat kiñcin nṛṇāṃ śreya ihepsitam | tasmin karmaṇi yoktavyā dāntātmānaḥ purohitāḥ ||

Translation

Kaya nga, O inapo ni Tapati, anumang kapaki-pakinabang na layunin ang nais tuparin ng mga tao sa mundong ito—sa gawaing iyon ay dapat magtalaga ng mga purohita na may pagpipigil-sa-sarili, na napapailalim ang isip at mga pandama.
