ब्राह्मण उवाच उपपन्नं सतामेतद् यद् ब्रवीषि तपोधने । न तु दुःखमिदं शक्यं मानुषेण व्यपोहितुम्,ब्राह्मणने कहा--तपोधने! आप जो कुछ कह रही हैं, वह आप-जैसे सज्जनोंके अनुरूप ही है; परंतु हमारे इस दुःखको मनुष्य नहीं मिटा सकता
brāhmaṇa uvāca | upapannaṃ satām etad yad bravīṣi tapodhane | na tu duḥkham idaṃ śakyaṃ mānuṣeṇa vyapohitum |
Wika ng Brahmana: “Ang sinasabi mo, O babaeng mayaman sa pag-aayuno at pagninilay, ay tunay na angkop sa mga banal. Ngunit ang dalamhating ito namin ay hindi maaalis ng pagsisikap ng tao lamang.”
