नूनं दुर्योधनेनेदं विहितं पापकर्मणा । पाण्डवानां विनाशायेत्येवं ते चुक्कुशुर्जना:,(यह देख) वे (सभी) नागरिक चिल्ला-चिल्लाकर कहने लगे कि “अवश्य ही पापाचारी दुर्योधनने पाण्डवोंका विनाश करनेके लिये इस भवनका निर्माण करवाया था

Transliteration

nūnaṃ duryodhanenedam vihitaṃ pāpakarmaṇā | pāṇḍavānāṃ vināśāyety evaṃ te cukkuśur janāḥ ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Tiyak na ito’y ipinagbalak ni Duryodhana, ang gumagawa ng kasalanan, upang lipulin ang mga Pāṇḍava”—at gayon nga ang malalakas na sigaw ng mga tao.
