कुन्ती-युधिष्ठिरसंवादः

कारयन्तु च कुल्यानि शुभानि च बृहन्ति च | ये च तत्र मृतास्तेषां सुहदो यान्तु तानपि,“उन सबके कुलोचित शुभ और महान् संस्कारकी व्यवस्था करें तथा जो-जो उस घरमें जलकर मरे हैं, उनके सुहृद् एवं सगे-सम्बन्धी भी उन मृतकोंका दाह-संस्कार करनेके लिये वहाँ जायूँ
kārayantu ca kulyāni śubhāni ca bṛhanti ca | ye ca tatra mṛtās teṣāṃ suhṛdo yāntu tān api ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Ihanda ang mga ritwal na nararapat sa angkan—mapalad at maringal. At papuntahin din ang mga kaibigan at malalapit na kamag-anak ng lahat ng namatay roon, upang matanggap ng mga yumao ang wastong mga seremonyang panglibing.”
