ततः कदाचिद् भुज्जाने प्रववौ वायुरज्ुने । तेन तत्र प्रदीप: स दीप्यमानो विलोपित:,तदनन्तर एक दिन जब अर्जुन भोजन कर रहे थे, बड़े जोरसे हवा चलने लगी; उससे वहाँका जलता हुआ दीपक बुझ गया
tataḥ kadācid bhuñjāne pravavau vāyur Arjune | tena tatra pradīpaḥ sa dīpyamāno vilopitaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Minsan, habang kumakain si Arjuna, biglang humihip ang isang malakas na hangin. Dahil dito, ang lamparang nagliliwanag doon ay namatay—isang pangyayaring naghahanda sa susunod na mangyayari.
