Droṇa’s Ācārya-Dakṣiṇā: Capture of Drupada and Division of Pāñcāla (द्रोण-आचार्यदक्षिणा)
क्रीडावसाने ते सर्वे शुचिवस्त्रा: स्वलंकृता: । दिवसान्ते परिश्रान्ता विहृत्य च कुरूद्वहा:,जलक्रीड़ा समाप्त होनेपर दिनके अन्तमें विहारसे थके हुए वे समस्त कुरुश्रेष्ठ वीर शुद्ध वस्त्र धारणकर सुन्दर आभूषणोंसे विभूषित हो उन क्रीड़ाभवनोंमें ही रात बितानेका विचार करने लगे। बलवान् भीमसेन उस समय अधिक परिश्रम करनेके कारण बहुत थक गये थे
krīḍāvasāne te sarve śucivastrāḥ sv-alaṅkṛtāḥ | divasānte pariśrāntā vihṛtya ca kurūdvahāḥ |
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Nang matapos ang paglalaro sa tubig at ang kasiyahan, sa pagtatapos ng araw, ang lahat ng pangunahing bayani ng Kuru—matapos maglibang at ngayo’y pagod—ay nagsuot ng malilinis na kasuotan at nagpalamuti ng mga hiyas, at inisip na doon na rin magpalipas ng gabi sa mga pabiliong pang-aliw. Si Bhīmasena, bagama’t makapangyarihan, ay lalo pang napagod noon dahil sa labis na pag-igpaw ng lakas.
