Adhyaya 89: शौचाचारलक्षणम् — सदाचार, भैक्ष्यचर्या, प्रायश्चित्त, द्रव्यशुद्धि, आशौच-निर्णय
सदाचाररताः शान्ताः स्वधर्मपरिपालकाः सर्वांल्लोकान् विनिर्जित्य ब्रह्मलोकं व्रजन्ति ते
sadācāraratāḥ śāntāḥ svadharmaparipālakāḥ sarvāṃllokān vinirjitya brahmalokaṃ vrajanti te
Yaong mga nalulugod sa wastong asal (sadācāra), mapayapa, at tapat na tumutupad sa sariling dharma—na napagtagumpayan ang lahat ng daigdig (sa bisa ng merito at pagpipigil-sa-sarili)—sila’y tumutungo sa Brahmaloka.
