उपलेपनादिकथनम्

Vastraputa-jala, Ahimsa, and Conduct in Shiva Worship

कार्यमभ्युक्षणं नित्यं स्नपनं च विशेषतः त्रैलोक्यमखिलं हत्वा यत्फलं परिकीर्त्यते

kāryamabhyukṣaṇaṃ nityaṃ snapanaṃ ca viśeṣataḥ trailokyamakhilaṃ hatvā yatphalaṃ parikīrtyate

Dapat gawin araw-araw ang abhyukṣaṇa (pagwiwisik ng banal na tubig) at lalo na ang snapana (seremonyal na pagpapaligo) sa Śiva-liṅga. Ang bungang-pala na ipinahahayag para sa gawaing ito ay sinasabing kasingdakila ng gantimpalang inilalarawan kahit matapos mapuksa ang kabuuan ng tatlong daigdig—ganyan kalaki ang ipinahayag na bisa ng kabanalan nito.
