Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It teaches that Śiva-linga worship performed at major solar transitions (ayana and viṣuva) and key calendrical observances is especially potent and leads the devotee toward the supreme goal—release granted by Pati (Śiva).
Śiva is implied as the Pati who transcends time yet sanctifies time; by approaching Him at pivotal cosmic junctures, the bound soul (paśu) is led beyond pasha (bondage) to paramā gati.
A kāla-niyama (timing discipline) for Śiva-pūjā—performing complete worship at ayana, uttarāyaṇa/dakṣiṇāyana, viṣuva, and mid-month observances as a vrata-oriented practice supporting liberation.
