स्वायंभुवे तदर्धं स्यात् स्याद् आर्षे च तदर्धकम् मानुषे च तदर्धं स्यात् क्षेत्रमानं द्विजोत्तमाः
svāyaṃbhuve tadardhaṃ syāt syād ārṣe ca tadardhakam mānuṣe ca tadardhaṃ syāt kṣetramānaṃ dvijottamāḥ
Sa sukat na Svāyambhuva, ito’y dapat maging kalahati niyon; sa sukat na Ārṣa, kalahati pa ng kalahating iyon; at sa sukat na Mānuṣa, kalahati pa muli—ganyan ang pamantayan ng sukat ng banal na lupain, O pinakamainam sa mga dalawang-ulit na isinilang.
