Adhyaya 71: पुरत्रयवृत्तान्तः—ब्रह्मवरदानम्, मयकृतत्रिपुर-निर्माणम्, विष्णुमाया-धर्मविघ्नः, शिवस्तुति, त्रिपुरदाहोपक्रमः
तस्माद्दैत्या न वध्यास्ते भूतैश्चोपसदोद्भवैः पापं नुदति धर्मेण धर्मे सर्वं प्रतिष्ठितम्
tasmāddaityā na vadhyāste bhūtaiścopasadodbhavaiḥ pāpaṃ nudati dharmeṇa dharme sarvaṃ pratiṣṭhitam
Kaya nga, ang mga Daitya ay hindi dapat patayin ng mga nilalang na isinilang mula sa Upasads; sapagkat ang kasalanan ay itinataboy ng Dharma, at sa Dharma nakasalig ang buong sansinukob. Sa ganitong paraan, ang Pati (Panginoon) ang nagtataguyod ng kaayusan: pinipigil ang karahasan at itinatayo ang tagumpay sa matuwid na asal.
