Linga Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 135

वासिष्ठकथनम् (आदित्य–सोमवंशवर्णनम् तथा रुद्रसहस्रनाम-प्रशंसा)

भूतालयो भूतपतिर् अहोरात्रो मलो ऽमलः वसुभृत् सर्वभूतात्मा निश्चलः सुविदुर् बुधः

bhūtālayo bhūtapatir ahorātro malo 'malaḥ vasubhṛt sarvabhūtātmā niścalaḥ suvidur budhaḥ

Siya ang Bhūtālaya, tahanan ng lahat ng nilalang, at Bhūtapati, Panginoon ng mga nilalang; Siya ang araw-at-gabi (Ahōrātra) mismo. Siya ang mala at ang amala—kapwa karumihan at ang walang-dungis na lampas sa karumihan. Siya ang Vasubhṛt, tagapagdala ng kayamanan; Siya ang Sarvabhūtātmā, ang Sarili sa bawat nilalang; di-nagagalaw at matatag—ngunit malinaw na nakikilala ng tunay na marurunong.
