भार्गवात्पादहीनस्तु विज्ञेयो वै बृहस्पतिः पादहीनौ वक्रसौरी तथायामप्रमाणतः

Transliteration

bhārgavātpādahīnastu vijñeyo vai bṛhaspatiḥ pādahīnau vakrasaurī tathāyāmapramāṇataḥ

Translation

Kung ihahambing kay Bhārgava (Śukra), si Bṛhaspati (Jupiter) ay dapat maunawaang ‘kulang ng isang pāda’ sa sukat; at gayundin si Saurī (Śani/Saturn) ay may likong galaw (vakra) at kulang ng dalawang pāda—ayon sa kanilang sukat na proporsyonal (yāma-pramāṇa).
