Shloka 7

मेरुवर्णनम्—प्रमाण, दिग्विभाग, देवपुरी-विमान-निवासाः

मूलायामप्रमाणं तु विस्तारान् मूलतो गिरेः ऊचुर्विस्तारमस्यैव द्विगुणं मूलतो गिरेः

mūlāyāmapramāṇaṃ tu vistārān mūlato gireḥ ūcurvistāramasyaiva dviguṇaṃ mūlato gireḥ

Ipinahayag nila na ang pangunahing sukat ay dapat kunin bilang lapad mula sa paanan ng bundok; at sinabi pa nila na ang lapad ng anyong ito ay dapat maging doble ng sukat na iyon sa paanan. Sa gayon, naitatakda ang proporsyon upang ang banal na anyo—nararapat sa paglalagak kay Śiva—ay tumindig na matatag sa dharmikong pagkakatimbang.
