कृतत्रेतादियुक्तानां मनोरन्तरमुच्यते मन्वन्तरस्य संख्या च वर्षाग्रेण प्रकीर्तिता
kṛtatretādiyuktānāṃ manorantaramucyate manvantarasya saṃkhyā ca varṣāgreṇa prakīrtitā
Ang pagitan ng isang Manu—na binubuo ng Kṛta, Tretā at iba pang mga yuga—ay tinatawag na Manvantara. At ang kabuuang sukat ng Manvantara ay ipinahahayag din ayon sa bilang ng mga taon.
