Adhyaya 28
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It frames Linga-upasana as more than outer ritual: the Linga points the devotee (pashu) to inward dhyana and cintana of Maheshvara, whose grace ripens as nirvriti—liberating peace.
Shiva is presented as Ishana, the sovereign Pati who rules both Pradhana (prakriti) and Purusha; realizing Him reveals yathātathya—Reality as it truly is—beyond the pasha of misapprehension.
Pashupata-oriented practice of dhyana (meditation) and sustained cintana (contemplative absorption) on Maheshvara, with prapatti (taking refuge) as the inner method leading to nirvriti.
