Suta Goswami
It establishes that the teaching is transmitted “as heard” and made efficacious by anugraha (divine grace), a key Shaiva principle behind fruitful śravaṇa and devotion to the Linga.
Shiva is implied as Pati who bestows prasāda/anugraha—without which knowledge remains mere words; with grace it becomes “suśobhana,” spiritually luminous and transformative for the pashu.
Śravaṇa (devout listening) within a valid paramparā is highlighted; it is the doorway by which Pashupata-oriented understanding and worship become empowered through grace.
