प्रेतपिण्डं प्रदद्याच्च दाहार्तिशमनं खग / तावद्भूताः प्रतीक्षन्ते तं प्रेतं बान्धवार्थिनम्

pretapiṇḍaṃ pradadyācca dāhārtiśamanaṃ khaga / tāvadbhūtāḥ pratīkṣante taṃ pretaṃ bāndhavārthinam

O Khaga (Garuda), ihandog ang preta-piṇḍa na nagpapawi ng hapding parang sinusunog ng apoy sa yumao. Hangga’t hindi ito nagagawa, ang mga bhūta ay patuloy na naghihintay sa pretang iyon na uhaw sa tulong at sandigan ng mga kamag-anak.
