On the Causes/Means of Knowledge

वेधा न जानाति कुतस्तदन्ये तयोः स्वरूपंन विजानाति सर्वम् / तथापि वेदानेकदेशेन वेद जानाति लक्ष्मीर्हरिरूपं च यावत्

vedhā na jānāti kutastadanye tayoḥ svarūpaṃna vijānāti sarvam / tathāpi vedānekadeśena veda jānāti lakṣmīrharirūpaṃ ca yāvat

Kahit ang Manlilikha (Brahmā) ay hindi lubos na nakaaalam nito—paano pa ang iba? Walang sinuman ang ganap na nakauunawa sa tunay na kalikasan ng dalawa (Lakṣmī at Hari). Gayunman, sa pamamagitan ng isang bahagi ng mga Veda, maaaring makilala, ayon sa sukat na iyon, ang anyo ni Lakṣmī at ang anyo ni Hari.
