अनग्नममृतं चैव कार्यमन्नं द्विजन्मना / अतिथिभ्यस्तु वर्णेभ्यो देयं शक्त्यानुपूर्वशः
anagnamamṛtaṃ caiva kāryamannaṃ dvijanmanā / atithibhyastu varṇebhyo deyaṃ śaktyānupūrvaśaḥ
Ang dvija (dalawang ulit na isinilang) ay dapat maghanda ng pagkaing hindi niluto sa apoy at dalisay, na angkop sa banal na gamit. Sa mga panauhing mula sa iba’t ibang varṇa, magbigay ayon sa kakayahan at sa nararapat na pagkakasunod-sunod.
