आसुरो द्रविणादानाद्गान्धर्वः समयान्मिथः / राक्षसो युद्धहरणात्पैशाचः कन्यकाच्छलात्
āsuro draviṇādānādgāndharvaḥ samayānmithaḥ / rākṣaso yuddhaharaṇātpaiśācaḥ kanyakācchalāt
Ang kasal ay tinatawag na Āsura kapag yaman ang kinukuha (ng panig ng dalaga) bilang kapalit; tinatawag na Gāndharva kapag ito’y sa kusang kasunduan ng dalawa; Rākṣasa kapag ang dalaga’y dinadakip sa digmaan; at Paiśāca kapag ang birhen ay nilalapastangan sa pamamagitan ng panlilinlang.
