Transliteration

tato 'bhivādayedvṛdvānasāvahamiti bruvan / guruṃ caivāpyupāsīta svādhyāyārthaṃ samāhitaḥ

Translation

Pagkatapos, nang may kababaang-loob, maghandog ng pagbati at pagpupugay (abhivādana) na nagsasabing, “Ito ako.” At dumalo rin sa guru nang may nakatuong isip, alang-alang sa svādhyāya, ang banal na pag-aaral.
