Nirūpaṇa (Nāḍī–Svara-Nirūpaṇam): Breath Currents, Omens, and Action-Timing

शान्तिमुक्त्यर्थसिद्ध्यै च इडा योज्या नराधिपैः / द्वाभ्यां चैव प्रवाहे च क्रूरसौम्यविवर्जने

śāntimuktyarthasiddhyai ca iḍā yojyā narādhipaiḥ / dvābhyāṃ caiva pravāhe ca krūrasaumyavivarjane

Upang makamtan ang kapayapaan at maisakatuparan ang mga layuning patungo sa kalayaan (moksha), dapat isagawa ng mga hari ang ritwal na iḍā; at gawin ito na may dalawang handog, sa ritwal ng pagbubuhos na umaagos, na iniiwasan ang dalawang sukdulan—ang marahas at ang labis na banayad.
