ऊना ऊनायुषं कुर्याद्रेखाश्चाङ्गुष्ठमूलगाः / बृहत्यः पुत्रास्तन्व्यस्तु प्रमदाः परिकीर्तिताः
ūnā ūnāyuṣaṃ kuryādrekhāścāṅguṣṭhamūlagāḥ / bṛhatyaḥ putrāstanvyastu pramadāḥ parikīrtitāḥ
Kung ang mga guhit (sa hinlalaki) ay kulang at hanggang sa ugat lamang ng hinlalaki, sinasabing tanda ito ng maikling buhay. Kung malalaki at mahusay ang pagkakabuo, sinasabing tanda ng mga anak na lalaki; at kung maninipis at maselan, inilalarawan bilang tanda ng mga anak na babae.
