एतान् ग्राम्यान्पशून्प्राहुरारण्यांश्च निबोध मे / श्वापदं द्विखुरं हस्तिवानराः पक्षिपञ्चमाः

etān grāmyānpaśūnprāhurāraṇyāṃśca nibodha me / śvāpadaṃ dvikhuraṃ hastivānarāḥ pakṣipañcamāḥ

Ang mga ito ay tinatawag na mga hayop na inaalagaan sa nayon; ngayon ay unawain mo mula sa akin ang mga mailap—mga mababangis na mandaragit, mga hayop na biyak ang kuko, mga elepante at mga unggoy, at bilang ikalimang pangkat, ang mga ibon.
