Concept: Meditate on vāyu-tattva as bindu-marked, immensely extended in breadth and height, with specified measure (fourteen koṭis and more).
Vedantic Theme: From nāma-rūpa measurement to the contemplative grasp of subtle principle; bindu as a support leading toward non-dispersed awareness.
Application: Use bindu-dhyāna: visualize a central point and expand awareness outward/upward while maintaining single-pointedness; apply in breath meditation to sense prāṇa’s pervasiveness without losing focus.
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Type: subtle cosmogram/inner maṇḍala with bindu
Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.23 (bindu/maṇḍala contemplations tied to vāyu-tattva)
This verse highlights vāyu-tattva as a measurable, contemplated principle, indicating its role as a foundational subtle element to be understood through disciplined visualization.
By emphasizing contemplation of subtle principles and vast measures, the verse points to inner knowledge of tattvas—an aid for refining awareness that supports the soul’s higher course beyond gross identification.
Use it as a reminder to practice steady contemplation (dhyāna) on subtle principles—such as breath (vāyu)—to cultivate clarity, restraint, and inward focus.
