Related Themes: Garuda Purana 1.171: compound with aśvattha, triphalā, vyoṣa, aromatics, and guggulu for bhagna-sandhi
This verse highlights guggulu as a key binding and restorative resin used with Triphalā and Trikaṭu to support healing and realignment in joint fractures.
It does not describe the soul’s journey; it belongs to the Brahma Kanda’s practical Ayurvedic instruction, showing the Purana’s role as a compendium of dharma and applied health knowledge.
It points to classical Ayurvedic compounding logic (balancing, aromatics, resin-based carriers), but any medical use should be guided by qualified practitioners rather than self-prescription.
