Laxmyupakhyana Varnanam

चतुर्भुजाय द्विभुजो महालक्ष्मीं ददौ पुरा । लक्ष्यते दृश्यते विश्वं स्निग्धदृष्ट्या ययानिशम्

caturbhujāya dvibhujo mahālakṣmīṃ dadau purā .

lakṣyate dṛśyate viśvaṃ snigdhadṛṣṭyā yayāniśam

Noong unang panahon, ibinigay ng Panginoon na may dalawang braso si Mahalakshmi sa Panginoon na may apat na braso. Sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang mapagmahal at nakakalmang tingin, ang buong uniberso ay patuloy na pinagmamasdan at pinapanatili.
