Siddhapada
Since the Lord is all-perfect, His exhibition of affection for His mother was also complete. After hearing the words of His mother, He most respectfully, with due gravity and good manners, replied.
This verse highlights that Lord Kapila spoke to Devahuti with words meant to make her free from agitation—implying that divine, devotional instruction steadies the mind and removes fear and distress.
After receiving glorification, Kapila—affectionate to His mother—continued His teachings to Devahuti so she could become spiritually fearless and attain liberation through realized knowledge and devotion.
Offer guidance that calms and uplifts others—especially family members—by speaking truthfully, gently, and with spiritual focus, aiming to reduce anxiety and increase devotion.
