Secondary Creation Begins: Brahmā’s Productions, the Guṇas, and the Emergence of Orders of Beings
This verse frames the question: whether beings create by independent power or whether creation is collectively arranged—implying a deeper principle that creation is not random but ordered and purposeful.
Vidura seeks clarity on the mechanics and governance of creation—whether it arises from individual agency (karma) or from coordinated, higher arrangement—so he can understand the Lord’s cosmic order as taught by Maitreya.
It encourages humility and discernment: outcomes often depend not only on individual effort but also on larger systems and divine order—so one should act responsibly while recognizing a higher coordination beyond the ego.
