ऋषीणां भूरिवीर्याणामपि सर्गमविस्तृतम् । ज्ञात्वा तद्धृदये भूयश्चिन्तयामास कौरव ॥ ५० ॥
ṛṣīṇāṁ bhūri-vīryāṇām api sargam avistṛtam jñātvā tad dhṛdaye bhūyaś cintayām āsa kaurava
O anak ng Kuru, nang makita ni Brahmā na kahit may mga rishi na makapangyarihan ay hindi pa rin sapat ang pagdami ng nilalang, muling nagmuni-muni siya sa puso kung paano mapalalago ang lahi.
