कालषेयं पुरोधाय तुरं तुरगमेधषाट् । समन्तात् पृथिवीं सर्वां जित्वा यक्ष्यति चाध्वरै: ॥ ३७ ॥

kālaṣeyaṁ purodhāya turaṁ turaga-medhaṣāṭ samantāt pṛthivīṁ sarvāṁ jitvā yakṣyati cādhvaraiḥ

Sa pagtanggap kay Tura, anak ni Kalaṣa, bilang pari, lulupigin ni Janamejaya ang daigdig sa lahat ng dako at magsasagawa ng maraming aśvamedha-yajña; kaya siya’y makikilala bilang Turaga-medhaṣāṭ.
