तं दुरत्ययविक्रान्तमादाय प्रमदोत्तमा । हरेरंशांशसम्भूतं भर्तुरन्तिकमागमत् ॥ १९ ॥
taṁ duratyaya-vikrāntam ādāya pramadottamā harer aṁśāṁśa-sambhūtaṁ bhartur antikam āgamat
Si Śakuntalā, ang pinakamainam sa mga maririkit na babae, ay dinala ang kanyang anak na may lakas na di matitinag—na isinilang bilang bahagi ng bahagi ng Bhagavān Hari—at lumapit sa kanyang asawa na si Duṣmanta.
